Colin Jost has a weekend update on his health following his participation in the 2024 Summer Olympics.

The Saturday Night Live star said he injured his foot while covering the Paris Olympics surfing competition on location in Teahupo’o, Tahiti.

Jost, 42, posted a photo on Instagram on July 29 of three of his toes heavily bandaged. “You know you’re good,” he wrote, “when you’ve been to the Olympic medical tent more times than any athlete.”

Jost explained in a segment on NBC that he was injured while surfing at a reef shortly after arriving in French Polynesia because he was not wearing protective coral shoes.

“This might ruin my WikiFeet score,” Jost joked in a separate Instagram post showing off his bloodied left foot on July 26, “but I just arrived in Tahiti for the Surfing Olympics and the reef was excited to greet me.”

Before his difficult start, his wife had Scarlett Johansson admitted she was a little jealous that he got a job covering the Paris 2024 surfing competition for NBC.
