Janice I. Dlugosh passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the age of 84.

Janice was born on June 18, 1940 in Sayre, Pa., the daughter of Avery and Pauline Jones Edsell. Janice married her husband of nearly 60 years, Thomas F. Dlugosh, on July 25, 1959 in Bradford, N.Y. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Janice enjoyed hiking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband Thomas F. Dlugosh; son Paul Dlugosh; sisters Betty McQuay and Grace Brown; and brothers Clarence, Clair and James Edsell. She is survived by her daughter Karen (James) Wisner; son Thomas A. (Jean) Dlugosh; daughter-in-law Pat Dlugosh; sisters Norine Jenner and Wanda (Ralph) Depue; sister-in-law Virginia Lott; grandchildren Emily Hunt, Benjamin Dlugosh, Michael Fox, Danielle Wisner and James Wisner; great-grandchildren Avery Hunt, Rory Hunt, Zoe Fox and Nora Fox and many nieces and nephews.
