Which Dolphins player would make the Olympic relay team?

With Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Raheem Mostert, De’Von Achane and Jaylen Wright, it’s no secret that the Miami Dolphins offense does everything fast. Their team speed is red hot and they’re capable of hitting from anywhere on the court.

One Dolphins running back is so fast he thinks he could be a reserve for the U.S. Olympic 4×100-meter relay team.

Meet 32-year-old Raheem Mostert.

“I could be a replacement,” Mostert told CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco. “I feel like I could be a replacement right now,”

Like other Dolphin runners, Mostert comes from a track and field background. Before leaving college, he was on the 4×100-meter relay team at the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Mostert also gave his version of the Dolphins 4×100 meter relay team,

“That’s a lot of speed. I’d take Tyreek (Hill) at number one, I’ll take the second piece, (Jaylen) Waddle around the corner and I’d give De’Von (Achane) the last piece.”

Hill and Waddle recently raced. Waddle won. Hill, however, does not accept the result. He said Waddle cheated.

“Do you want me to set things straight? The Cheetah “He’s still the fastest no matter what,” Hill told NFL Network’s Eric Edholm. “I’m just going to say Jaylen went over the count in that race. It was a false start.”

Mostert said opposing defenses fear the team speed Miami has,

“You definitely see the fear,” Mostert said, “Speed brings a whole other element of fear into the defense,”

Mostert had 209 carries last season and collected 1,012 yards. He also scored 18 touchdowns on the ground. He would like to see his carrying total, which is a workload for most backs, increase even more in 2024.

“We’ve got to get as many touches as we can,” Mostert said. “I’m used to having a lot of guys in the backfield with me. To have all those guys out there, they all have different skills, they bring their own uniqueness, and it’s definitely unique.

“I just try to be one of the leaders of the group,”
