    Amazon Prime Day deals return in October: What you need to know

    Amazon customers who are unhappy with their Amazon Prime Day purchases will have another chance this fall.

    Prime members will get exclusive access to discounts in October, the retail giant announced Thursday. The Prime Big Deal Days will feature discounts for customers in the U.S. and 18 other countries.

    “Only Prime members get access to early holiday deals in popular categories, including deep discounts on products from top brands,” the company said in a press release.

    The company’s annual Prime Day event took place on July 16-17, offering deals across 35 categories of products from electronics, apparel and beauty. Members had access to discounted deals on products like Amazon Devices, quality entertainment, groceries and travel items.

    An Amazon representative told USA TODAY Thursday that no further details could be shared at this time.

    When do Amazon Prime Big Deal Days start?

    Amazon hasn’t yet announced dates for this fall’s Prime Big Deal Days, but has confirmed they’ll take place sometime in October.

    Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days offer discounts for Prime members in the following 19 countries:

    Can you shop at Amazon Prime Big Deal Days without a membership?

    Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days are exclusive to Prime members. However, eligible shoppers can sign up for a 30-day free trial before October to get access to the deals.

    How much does an Amazon Prime membership cost?

    Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month, or $139 per year. A subscription to Prime Video alone costs $8.99 per month.

    Students and shoppers between the ages of 18 and 24 can sign up for $7.49 per month or $69 per year.
