Many former OU football players have gone on to success in the NFL, earning huge contracts.

The latest example is CeeDee Lamb. The former OU wide receiver signed a four-year, $136 million contract with Dallas on Monday, making him the second-highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

Here are the five highest-paid former OU players in the NFL, ranked by the average annual value of their contracts:

Highest paid former OU players in the NFL

Williams signed a six-year, $138 million contract with San Francisco in 2021, making him the highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL at the time.

Williams earned two All-Big 12 first team selections during his time at OU from 2006-09. He is now a three-time All-Pro offensive tackle entering his 14th season in the NFL.

Mayfield signed a three-year, $100 million contract with Tampa Bay on March 10. It was a well-earned deal for the former No. 1 overall pick, who led the Buccaneers to the NFC Divisional Round of the playoffs last season.

Mayfield led OU to two College Football Playoff appearances during his time with the program from 2014-17. He also won the Heisman Trophy in 2017 and earned two Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year awards.

Lamb signed a four-year, $136 million contract with Dallas on Monday, making him the second-highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

Lamb earned two All-Big 12 selections during his time at OU from 2017-19. He has earned two All-Pro selections during his four seasons in the NFL and led the league in catches (135) last season.

Murray signed a five-year, $230.5 million contract with Arizona in 2022, making him the second-highest-paid player in the NFL at the time in terms of average annual value.

Murray played for OU from 2016-18, winning the 2018 Heisman Trophy while leading the team to the College Football Playoff. He has earned two Pro Bowl selections in his five years in the NFL.

Hurts signed a five-year, $255 million contract with Philadelphia in 2023, the largest contract by average annual value in NFL history at the time.

Hurts earned a 2019 All-Big 12 first team selection in his lone season at OU, and he led the team to the College Football Playoff. Hurts has since made one Super Bowl and two Pro Bowl appearances during his four seasons in the NFL.
