The summer of sport isn’t over yet. The Paralympics have kicked off in Paris and run until September. We’ve rounded up everything you need to know about where to watch the Paralympics around the world, including free streaming options.

The Paralympics first took place in 1960 and the Paralympic Committee was officially established in 1989. The Games run parallel to the Olympic Games, usually taking place in the weeks following them, and showcase the world’s best athletes with disabilities. The Summer Paralympics feature more than 4,000 athletes competing in 22 sports, including wheelchair basketball, para-athletics and para-swimming.

Below we’ve outlined all the ways to watch the Paralympics. For many countries, the streaming platforms will be the same as the Olympic Games coverage, but there are a few key differences to note. Keep checking back here throughout the Paralympics for updated information on notable events.

Where can you watch the Paralympic Games in the US?

Like the Olympics, the Paralympics will be streamed live on Peacock in the United States. Subscriptions start at $8 a month or $80 a year, which was also the U.S. streaming hub for the Olympics this summer. The service offers a range of live sports coverage, including cycling, golf and Sunday Night Football.

Where can you watch the Paralympics in the UK?

The Paralympics will be streamed live for free on Channel 4 Sport’s YouTube channel in the UK. You don’t need to create an account to watch, just navigate to the page to start watching. This option offers up to 18 simultaneous streams, meaning you’ll likely be able to watch every moment of the Paralympics on TV here.

Where can you watch the Paralympic Games in Australia?

Like the Olympics, the Paralympics will be broadcast free on 9Now in Australia. This option offers most of the major coverage and only requires you to create an account to access it. Australians who absolutely want to watch every moment of the Paralympics ad-free can subscribe to Stan Sport, which will set you back around $27 per month (a basic tier costs $12 and the Sports add-on costs $25).

Where can you watch the Paralympic Games in France?

The Paralympics will be streamed live for free on France.TV in France. All you need to do is create an account to start watching. This was also the French home of the Olympics this year.
