The University of Colorado hosts North Dakota State University in our home opener on Thursday, August 29 at 6:00 p.m. Check out everything you need to know about Game 1 and more games this season below. Please note: Gates open at 4:00 p.m. for the NDSU game and fans are encouraged to arrive at least an hour prior to kickoff to avoid missing the pre-game festivities, including Ralphie’s run and kickoff.

Please note that there is no re-entry into Folsom Field. Once you enter the stadium, you will not be able to leave and re-enter. Also, Folsom Field has a clear bag policy and there will be no locker rentals this year. Check the website for reminders on what bags are allowed in the stadium.

THE NIGHT BEFORE THE MATCH
PEARL STREET STAMPEDE – Don’t miss one of Boulder’s best community traditions! Join us for the Pearl Street Stampede on Wednesday night, featuring the Golden Buffalo Marching Band, CU Spirit Squad, Chip the Buffalo, and CU Athletic teams as we celebrate game day with a pep rally/parade. The Stampede begins at 7:00 PM on the 1300 Block of Pearl Street in front of the courthouse and heads west.

GAMEDAY INFORMATION
BUFFS FAN PARTY

Buffs Fan Fest, located at Duane Field, is the official tailgate of Colorado Athletics and is open to everyone. Fan Fest opens at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday and will feature cashless concessions and merchandise.

CHIP’S CHILDREN’S CLUB AREA
Duane Field is the location for Chip’s Kids Club Area. This space opens three hours before the game. Includes bounce houses for kids and games for the whole family.

BUFF WALK
Welcome the team to the stadium on the east side of Folsom Field, this year at Franklin Field. Stop by this week at 3:45pm so you don’t miss the team’s arrival.

TICKETS AND PARKING
PARKING

Please note that parking on the main campus is reserved for donors only. These parking lots will be available to the general public starting at 5:30pm. All general parking will initially be directed to our East Campus parking lots, which will open at 2pm. Once these lots are full, there are additional parking options in the city, including the following:

Option 1: HOP Bus Service – 15th and Pearl Garage

The HOP bus is a convenient option for getting to the stadium. The HOP route includes stops at Walnut/14th (eastbound) and Pearl/15th (both eastbound and westbound), which serve the 1500 Pearl Garage. Both clockwise and counterclockwise HOP buses run directly to CU, with buses running every 12 minutes until 7pm and every 20 minutes between 7pm and 10pm. Please note that Colorado Avenue is typically closed on game days and the HOP bus will run via Regent Drive to Folsom. A map of the HOP route can be found here.

Option 2: Parking on the South Campus

Our second parking option is on South Campus, located on Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, CO 80305. This lot opens at 3pm and tailgating is not permitted due to Boulder’s Stage 2 Fire Ban. ACE buses are available to transport guests, with pick-up and drop-off points at the corner of Stadium Drive and Folsom. Parking on South Campus is $20, payable upon arrival.

The ADA shuttle capacity is smaller than normal, so ADA customers should allow extra time to board the ADA shuttle and travel to the drop-off point at the southwest entrance of Folsom Field.

BUFFS MOBILE APP

This app is the best way to purchase and manage tickets and get them in your wallet for admission to Folsom Field. In addition to ticket sales, the app also features our latest news, schedules, live stats, maps, videos and much more. Fans are encouraged to download the app before heading to the ballpark and get their tickets in your wallet ahead of time.

MOBILE TICKET SALES
All CU home events are fully mobile ticketed. After purchasing tickets, your mobile tickets will be emailed to you to add to your wallet or available in the Buffs Mobile App. Check out our step-by-step process to manage your mobile tickets. We encourage you to add your tickets to your wallet now.

TRANSFER CARDS
Can’t make the game and want to send seats to a friend? The easiest way to do this is in the Buffs Mobile App by selecting the Tickets tab, clicking Manage Tickets, clicking Transfer Tickets and selecting the season and game you want to transfer. NEW SOUTH VIDEO BOARD
Get your seats early to check out the brand new video screen in the South End of Folsom Field. At 130 feet by 36 feet, this new screen is five times larger than the previous screen and will enhance the in-house experience for all fans.
