Many college football fans were curious about who would be the starting quarterback for the UNC Tar Heels Thursday night against Minnesota. And shortly before kickoff, FOX’s Allison Williams relayed the information that Max Jansen starts Thursday evening for UNC.

It looks like the ‘Heels will also use a backup quarterback Conner HarrellUNC head coach Mack Brown indicated that both quarterbacks will see playing time earlier in the offseason during the 2024 season.

It’s been a struggle for both offenses so far in the game. Johnson has completed just 2 of 6 passes for 10 yards so far. He did have a nice 16-yard run in the second quarter.
