FSU already opened their season in Ireland last week with a loss to Georgia Tech, while Boston College gets their first action under a new coaching staff led by head coach Bill O’Brien.

Florida State is coming off an undefeated regular season and ACC Championship, but missed the College Football Playoff due to injuries and talent concerns. FSU lost its first game of 2024 to Georgia Tech, but could still be a CFP contender now that the playoff field has expanded to 12 teams.

Boston College, meanwhile, lost head coach Jeff Hafley to the Green Bay Packers and replaced him with longtime CFB and NFL coach Bill O’Brien, a Boston native. O’Brien is looking to revamp a BC program that hasn’t won more than 7 games in a season in over a decade and barely made a bowl game last season with one of the easiest schedules in the country.
