Xavier Worthy’s eye-popping speed for first career TD left Tyreek Hill and NFL world in awe

It didn’t take long for Kansas City Chiefs rookie pick Xavier Worthy to make his NFL debut and reach the end zone.

Worthy’s speed was on display on the Chiefs’ opening drive of the game, when Andy Reid and company came up with a brilliant trick to get the ball in his hands. After faking a handoff to Isiah Pacheco, he threw the ball to Worthy, who flew across the backfield and quickly turned upfield.

Worthy blasted through the Baltimore Ravens defense and powered his way into the end zone for his first NFL touchdown, and Kansas City’s first touchdown of the season.

It was immediately apparent how dangerous Worthy could be in the Chiefs offense, as their creative plays led to a huge touchdown on the rookie’s first touch with the ball.

NFL fans, and even some of the league’s biggest players, took to social media to express their disbelief at Worthy’s speed. Even famed speed demon Tyreek Hill couldn’t resist giving his opinion.
