Cincinnati Week 3 live scoreboard

Week 3 of the Cincinnati high school football season is here and with it comes a number of big games. From the Eastern Cincinnati Conference showdown between undefeated teams Milford and Winton Woods to Lakota West visiting Princeton in the game that could once again decide the Greater Miami Conference.

Teams that advanced deep into the playoffs last season, like Withrow, Badin and Waynesville, are still looking for their first wins of the 2024 season.

As the games begin and the teams take the field, here are live updates on scores, breaking stories, videos and more from Cincinnati high school football games.

A week after Harrison ended East Central’s 22-straight winning streak, including two Indiana state championships, the Moeller Crusaders are poised to snap a losing streak against the Trojans.

Moeller quickly stood out and quarterback Matt Ponatoski has already recorded three passing scores, bringing his total to 11 this season.

The Winton Woods defense has scored more points than it has allowed so far this year and that has been true against Milford so far. The Warriors have an interception and have held the Eagles scoreless as Winton Woods leads 15-0 at halftime.

Last season, Princeton’s win over Lakota West proved to be the difference-maker as the Vikings claimed the GMC championship. In the 2024 rematch, the Vikings and Firebirds are still scoreless after one quarter in Princeton.

Clinton-Massie’s chance to improve to 2-1 on the year will have to wait. The Falcons are traveling to Dresden to take on the Tri-Valley Scotties. Lightning and hail in the area delayed warmups, and the school announced the earliest start time was 8:30 p.m.

Undefeated Harrison hosts undefeated Indian Hill in a well-attended showdown between the teams. Harrison is playing at home again after winning on home soil last week against two-time reigning Indiana State Champion East Central.

All games are sorted by the conference of the home team, unless a school in the region is playing a team from outside Greater Cincinnati. Check back often or refresh for updates.

A new week of competitions unfortunately also means a new week of storms and delays.

Showers and thunderstorms are moving through Greater Cincinnati, which could cool temperatures, but there will also be strong winds and some thunder and lightning that could disrupt the game.

The game between Lakota West and Princeton will be postponed and is now scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

For many, these matches under the spotlight on Friday evening are the end of their sporting career. Some, however, keep it on Saturday.

More than 100 local athletes currently feature on collegiate Division I FBS football rosters, and many are starters and key players. From Lakota West graduate Alex Afari at the University of Kentucky to Colerain’s Ken Willis at the University of Cincinnati, here are some of the top local standouts to reach the Division I collegiate ranks.

Enquirer writers previewed and predicted 10 of the biggest games in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky in Week 3.
