First quarter summary

The Blackshirts started the game with a bang. Three and out for Colorado.

The Huskers marched methodically down the field in what must have been a sight to behold for many Husker fans.

Nebraska 7 Colorado 0

Nebraska continued to move the ball around well, keeping Colorado largely to their own end of the field.

After another Huskers touchdown, another stop by the Blackshirts and a Huskers drive, the quarter ended with a Nebraska field goal.

Second quarter

Alvana missed the field goal just wide of the right. So far. That’s about all that’s gone wrong for Nebraska.

This feels really, really good. I can feel a big part of Husker Nation slowly exhaling.

Colorado mounted a drive but missed their field goal.

The Huskers responded with their worst drive of the game and the Buffs got the ball with two minutes left.

But the Blackshirts weren’t done yet and the Huskers got the ball back with a minute and a half left. The Buffies were frustrated and pulled a lot of laundry, including a targeting.

A juggled ball that was retrieved by the receiver. TOUCHDOWN NEBRASKA!!!!!!!!

The Buffs had 30 seconds and attempted a 59-yard field goal. No good.
