    Mark Hamill had the most heartbreaking reaction to the death of James Earl Jones

    Legendary actor James Earl Jones has died at the age of 93.

    Jones, who won several acting awards during his iconic professional career, played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars series. He appeared alongside Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker.

    Paying tribute to Jones for their collaboration in the film world, Hamill referenced one of the most memorable moments in cinematic history when (spoiler alert, decades too late) Dat Vader revealed that he was, in fact, Skywalker’s father.

    He tweeted “#RIP Dad” with a broken heart emoji, showing the impact Jones had not only on his fans, but also on his film colleagues.
