LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) – The top 10 teams in college volleyball will face off on Tuesday night without having to leave the Cornhusker State borders. No. 5 Nebraska (5-1) hosts No. 9 Creighton (5-0).

Nebraska started the season ranked No. 2 in the country, but suffered a shocking 3-0 loss to unranked SMU a week ago. The Huskers have bounced back, however, sweeping The Citadel and Montana State to close out the week.

Creighton, meanwhile, is still performing perfectly in its young 2024 season, in which it recorded an impressive home win over No. 20 USC five days ago.

The Bluejays are looking to capitalize on perhaps the best chance they’ve ever had to beat the Huskers, something they haven’t done in 22 tries. Nebraska — the eventual national runner-up — defeated Creighton 3-1 in Omaha last season.
