Megan Thee Stallion will always be a hot girl.

As if hosting the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards wasn’t enough, the rapper also found time to perform a medley of her latest hits during tonight’s awards show at New York’s UBS Arena. Dressed in a yellow cutout bodysuit and matching boots, the Houston superstar performed a number of the latest tracks from her third studio album MEGANincluding “Hiss” and the Tik-Tok hit “Mamushi,” which also featured Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba on stage. Megan shone on and off stage throughout the night, hitting the red carpet before the show in a sheer, sculptural black gown and of course having an outfit change for each time she returned to address the crowd. Her presentation looks included a Simon Biles-inspired bodysuit with a bedazzled bodysuit and a recreation of Britney Spears’ “I’m a Slave 4 U” outfit.

The rap superstar recently opened her doors to Billboard about how she survives as a woman in the hip-hop world in the long run and what keeps her going against all odds.

“(It’s all) because I really love rapping. Where I come from, people really freestyle. Where I come from, it’s hardcore rap, Southern rap,” she told the outlet. “The only thing in my life that I knew I was really good at was rapping. I never want to go away from that. I never want to play with it again. I never want to think that people don’t take it seriously… I just want to rap. I want to be Megan Thee Stallion. I want to rap as long as I can.”
