Katy Perry Responds to Photo of Orlando Bloom Looking at Kim Kardashian

Katy Perry speaks out after photo of her fiancé Orlando Bloei apparently check out Kim Kardashian‘s, uh, asset has gone viral.

The photo, taken on September 9 at the Kering Caring for Women Dinner during New York Ready to Wear Fashion Week, shows the Pirates of the Caribbean star stood behind the “Woman’s World” singer at the event, his gaze appearing to land on the reality star’s curves in a figure-hugging ensemble she described as a “3D molded liquid rubber Balenciaga wet dress.”

But Katy, who wore a strapless, sequined aqua Balenciaga dress to the event, didn’t feel threatened by the moment. If anything, she totally gets it.

After radio DJ Elvis Duran When he mentioned the “clickbait” photo of Orlando’s brazen look during his September 10 show, he noted, “I mean, how could you not?”

The 39-year-old, who is set to receive MTV’s Video Vanguard Award at the 2024 VMAs, brushed off the moment, saying, “I agree,” before later asking, “Wait a minute, what’s the controversy?”

As for Katy and Orlando, 47, the couple who share a 4-year-old daughter Daisyare used to ignore ambient noise.

After first getting together in 2016, Katy recently shared some insights on how they maintain a healthy relationship for the benefit of their family.

“We want to evolve, that’s why we’re in our relationship, I think, to become better people so we can raise this beautiful human being,” she said on Alex Kuiper‘S Call her daddy podcast on Sept. 4 “It’s been different layers. The more we work, the more we find the next level.”

Looking back on their time in couples therapy, the “Wide Awake” singer noted that it’s an ongoing process.

“Sometimes we get stuck,” she admitted, “and we’re like, ‘Okay, let’s do the work, and this is going to be boring, and I don’t want to do it. We don’t have time. I’m tired.’ But we’re going to do it. And we’re going to find the next level. So we keep the relationship going.”
