Travis Kelce gave his girlfriend Taylor Swift a subtle message of support after she thanked him at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end liked an Instagram video the network posted in which the “Blank Space” singer raved about him while accepting the award for video of the year at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

“Only one person cheers louder for @taylorswift than me – and that’s @killatrav #VMAs,” MTV captioned the post.

Swift, 34, sparked outrage among fans after she made a special announcement to Kelce, also 34, onstage — and publicly called him her “boyfriend” for the first time.

“I could always hear someone cheering from across the studio where we were shooting the video for ‘Fortnight,’” she recalled, proudly holding her Moon Person trophy.

“And that one person was my boyfriend, Travis,” she said as the crowd roared. “Everything that man touches turns to happiness and joy and magic, and I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I will always remember that.”

Kelce was not present to attend the speech. Page Six previously reported that he had to remain in Kansas City, Missouri, for a practice with his team ahead of their game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

However, the athlete did offer encouragement to Swift, urging her to “stay on top” on Wednesday’s episode of his “New Heights” podcast.

The “Cruel Summer” singer had quite the successful night, making history by becoming the artist with the most VMA wins. She won seven awards this year, bringing her career total to 30.

Swift walked the red carpet solo in a yellow-and-black checked Dior bustier and a statement skirt, which she paired with black velvet shorts, black strappy leather gloves, a choker and black over-the-knee boots.

After accepting her first award for Best Collaboration with Post Malone for their song “Fortnight,” Swift changed into a short dress with silver sequins and a green dress with a UFO image embroidered in the center.

She seemed to be having a great time during the show, dancing to Katy Perry’s performance and posing for photos with other artists.

Swift and Kelce, who have been dating for over a year, were last seen consummating their love story at the US Open in New York City over the weekend, where they also attended a wedding and grabbed a bite to eat.
