Britney Spears shares her opinion about Sabrina Timmerman‘S MTV VMAs 2024 performance, which included a short tribute to the singer’s music video “Oops!…I Did It Again.”

During the performance, after “Please Please Please,” Sabrina was lowered to the ground, while the familiar sound of Britney‘s spoken word monologue was featured in the classic 2000 video, which featured her discovering an astronaut on stage, and an alien, whom she kissed during her set, and performing with several dancing astronauts.

Now the “Work Bitch” singer is giving her opinion.

“Did you guys watch the VMAs? I didn’t watch the VMAs, but I did watch stuff on my phone from YouTube from Sabrina Timmermanshe began in a video.

“Why is she kissing an alien on stage? I adore her. I love her to bits. I didn’t get it. Why didn’t she kiss a girl? That was weird,” she continued.

“But I also thought it was all a bit strange, but after I watched that, I took a very long bath.”

“And I actually color,” she continued. “I’m really into coloring now. I like to color and I like to trace the pictures and then go over them again… this Sabrina girl she said my name on the red carpet and I thought that was cool because sometimes I forget I’m famous… this Sabrina girl, Carpenter. She said something, and I was like, ‘Thanks, that’s cool!’”
