Super welterweight world champion Terence Crawford got involved in a hilarious blunder with rapper Kendrick Lamar at UFC 306.

‘Bud’ attended the UFC Noche match at the Las Vegas Sphere with Saudi boxing leader HE Turki Alalshikh.

As the cameras panned to their cageside seats, Crawford was mistakenly identified as Grammy Award-winning musician Lamar — to the disbelief of fans and fighters alike.

“Terence Crawford evolved into Kendrick Lamar tonight,” former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling wrote on X.

Crawford responded positively, posting a screenshot with the caption: “Damn Kendrick Lamar,” accompanied by two laughing emojis.

One fan even joked that the mistake would get someone fired: “Calling Bud Crawford @kendricklamar is crazy. A severable offense.”

But Dana White had a different take on the matter. “He looked a little bit like Kendrick Lamar, let’s not beat around the bush,” the UFC president said in his post-fight press conference.

While Crawford watched Merab Dvalishvili take the UFC bantamweight title from Sean O’Malley, just three miles away at T-Mobile Arena, his rival Canelo Alvarez retained his WBC, WBA and WBO super middleweight titles against Edgar Berlanga.

Crawford has been eyeing a fight with Canelo for some time and spoke out against the Mexican superstar after his convincing win on Saturday night.

“Yo Turki, tell them we’re going for Canelo now,” Crawford said live on Instagram while sitting next to HE Alalshikh.

“Yes,” HE Alalshikh replied. “Let’s go! Canelo, come on. We’re ready.”

Crawford then added: “You heard it from him. Just put me in the game b****.

“Canelo-Crawford, the biggest fight in boxing. But we remain ready for it.

“We stay ready, that way we don’t have to get ready.”

Canelo has indicated that he plans to rematch Dmitry Bivol, provided he defeats Artur Beterbiev on October 12.

The former pound-for-pound king doesn’t seem overly interested in the fight due to the weight difference between the two, but he insists he’ll take on the undisputed champion in two weight classes if the money is right.

“I think Crawford, don’t get me wrong, is a great fighter, but for me it’s an easy fight in my weight class,” Alvarez said on Sway In The Morning.
