Photos: Scenes from Bison football team’s dramatic comeback at East Tennessee State – InForum

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — Second-ranked North Dakota State scored 15 points in the final two minutes of the game to earn a 38-35 victory over East Tennessee State on Saturday in NCAA Division I FCS play at William B. Greene Jr. Stadium.

Bison Quarterback Cam Miller scored the winning 11-yard touchdown run with 50 seconds left to complete the comeback, recovering an onside kick with 1 minute, 57 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

East Tennessee State took a 35-23 lead after a Cameron Lewis A 19-yard touchdown catch with 8:39 left in the fourth quarter in front of 11,040 fans.

NDSU had not recovered an onside kick before the safety since 2005 Darius Givance’s recovery against the Buccaneers.
