GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers downgraded quarterback Jordan Love to questionable on Saturday, narrowing his chances of playing Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

Love was listed as questionable on the injury report Friday despite not having practiced since injuring his left knee late in last week’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The initial prognosis for Love’s injury was three to four weeks. The Packers have not placed Love on the injured list because they believe he will miss fewer than four games.

Malik Willis is expected to start Sunday and the Packers have signed Sean Clifford from the practice squad to serve as Willis’ backup.

Willis was acquired in a trade with the Titans on Aug. 26. He has made three NFL starts, all during his rookie season at Tennessee in 2022. The Titans went 1-2 in those games, and Willis did not throw for 100 yards in any of those starts.
