The long-awaited second season of “Tulsa King” returns this weekend.

The series will star Sylvester Stallone as New York mob boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi, who is released from prison after 25 years and “unceremoniously banished” to Tulsa, Oklahoma by his boss, according to Paramount+.

“Dwight slowly builds a ‘crew’ from a group of unlikely characters who help him build a new criminal empire in a place that might as well be another planet to him,” the series description reads.

According to Paramount+, Dwight and his team continue to “build and defend their growing empire” in season two, but as they begin to find their feet, they realize “they’re not the only ones staking their claim.”

The show is executive produced by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan. Other shows on the streaming platform include “Mayor of Kingstown,” “1883” and “Lawmen: Bass Reeves.”

The second season of “Tulsa King” will premiere worldwide on Sunday, September 15, according to Paramount+. New episodes will drop weekly on Sundays, the streaming platform said.

‘Tulsa King’ Season 2 Cast

In addition to Stallone, the series also stars Martin Starr, Andrea Savage, Jay Will, Max Casella and Vincent Piazza.

Notable newcomers include Neal McDonough and Frank Grillo. Country star Jelly Roll will also make a cameo in Season 2, according to Paramount+, with his new, unreleased song, “Get By,” featured in the trailer.
