This marks Swift’s first public appearance since attending the MTV VMAs on Wednesday and giving Kelce an adoring shout-out in her Video of the Year acceptance speech for “Fortnight.” She revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end had been on set while she and Post Malone were filming.

“One thing I’ll always remember is whenever I would finish a take, and I’d say, ‘Cut,’ and we’d be done with that take, I’d always hear someone cheering and going, ‘Whoo!’ from the other side of the studio where we were recording it, and that person was my boyfriend, Travis,” she told the audience. “Everything that man touches turns to happiness and joy and magic. So I want to thank him for bringing that to our shoot, because I’ll always remember that.”

Swift attended Kelce’s first game of the season against the Ravens on Sept. 5. The two were seen holding hands after the game and flew to New York City the next day. They had four more public dates that weekend, including one at Karen Elson’s wedding and another at the US Open.
