The Kansas City Chiefs narrowly earned their second win of the 2024 regular season on Sunday, beating the Cincinnati Bengals 26-25 on a walk-off field goal by kicker Harrison Butker.

Before Butker’s game-winning kick, Kansas City’s offense was led largely by running back Isiah Pacheco, who rushed for 90 yards on 19 attempts against Cincinnati’s stout defense.

In the second half, Pacheco left the field and appeared to be in pain while standing on the sidelines.

According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid told the media that the former Rutgers star was being evaluated for an ankle injury.

Following Schefter’s report, ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington revealed in another report that Pacheco left Arrowhead Stadium after the game on crutches and in soccer cleats.

Pacheco is a rock solid player in Reid’s attack and is one of Kansas City’s most valuable players.

Stay tuned for updates on Pacheco’s status ahead of the Chiefs’ Week 3 game against the Atlanta Falcons on September 22.
