Daylight Saving Time (DST) ends in Seattle at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Residents will set their clocks back one hour, marking the return to standard time.

This annual “backslide” provides an extra hour of sleep, but it also means that sunrise and sunset occur about an hour earlier than the previous day, making the evenings darker.

What happens when Daylight Saving Time ends?
