What a mess. Villa’s Morgan Rogers stormed into the penalty area, the ball was blocked and fell to defender Mohamed Ali Camara, with his back to goal.

Camara, who wore the unfortunate number 13, could have played the ball straight back to the keeper. He could have turned, dribbled or passed. He certainly would have should cleaned it up. He didn’t.

He hesitated and eventually played the ball back to keeper Von Ballmoos, but Ollie Watkins had anticipated it and managed to get first touch, receiving a hefty tap as a reward.

It could easily have been a penalty but the referee cleverly played his advantage and with the defenders static and slow to react, Ramsey simply tapped the loose ball out from under the belly of the injured Watkins and into the empty net.
