UT Welcomes Fans to Morgan Wallen Concerts at Neyland Stadium

The University of Tennessee at Knoxville welcomes concertgoers to campus on Friday, September 20 and Sunday, September 22 for two performances by Morgan Wallen.

Both shows begin at 6:30 p.m. EDT at Neyland Stadium. Gates open at 5 p.m. Up to 80,000 people are expected to flock to campus for each show.

Classes will be held on Fridays and concertgoers are requested not to arrive on campus before 2pm.

Parking and shuttle services

Campus lots will open at 2:00 p.m. for concertgoers with parking passes, and T-buses will switch to special event services. More information about concert day parking and bus schedules is available on the parking website.

Digital tickets and gate information

Concertgoers with general bowl tickets will be able to access their digital tickets through the Ticketmaster app. Those with premium tickets will be able to access their digital tickets through the Tennessee Athletics app, which is available for download in the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Concertgoers are encouraged to download their tickets to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay before arriving on campus. Those who need assistance with their digital tickets can visit the Gate 21 ticket office on the day of the concert.

Those with field-level tickets will enter through Gate 7, and those with pit tickets will enter through Gate 25. Those with general bowl tickets may enter through any non-premium gate. Those with premium tickets must enter through the designated gate.

RockyTopWiFi will be available in and around Neyland Stadium.

Concertgoer experiences and support

A Volunteer Club tailgate begins at 3pm at Humanities Plaza. To purchase tickets, visit https://thevolunteerclub.com/collections/morgan-wallen-tailgate-tickets.

On Friday, concert ticket holders will receive free admission to the Tennessee volleyball game against Western Michigan at Thompson-Boling Arena in the Food City Center. The game starts at 2 p.m.

Neyland Stadium is home to UT Medical Center first aid stations equipped with innovative technology, including portable diagnostic services and advanced life support equipment.

Those wishing to purchase Morgan Wallen merchandise for the show can visit merchandise locations outside of Neyland Stadium at Gate 21 on the northwest corner, outside of Ramp 10 on the southwest corner and outside of Gate 4 on the southeast corner. Each location opens at 2:00 p.m. Merchandise will also be available throughout Neyland Stadium during both shows.

Safety measures for concerts

  • Visitors are allowed to bring one unopened, factory-sealed, clear water bottle and one empty clear water bottle per person into the stadium.
  • Visitors are permitted to bring one clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or one one-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bag into the stadium. They may also bring one small clutch bag no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. No other bags are permitted in the stadium.
  • Visitors can report suspicious activity by texting 865-974-9898 and including their seat location (hall, section, row, seat number) and ticket issue.
  • Smoking is prohibited at the UT, including in private vehicles parked or driving on university grounds. The ban also applies to all burning tobacco, electronic cigarettes and other vape devices.
  • Anyone attempting to enter the stadium with alcohol will be denied entry.

Prohibited items

  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Open umbrellas
  • Outside food, snacks and drinks (unless medically necessary)
  • Radios without headphones
  • Video cameras, professional cameras and cameras with interchangeable lenses
  • Unmanned aircraft systems
  • Stadium seats with armrests or side pockets
  • Selfie sticks
  • Weapons of any kind, including pocket knives

No items may be stored or left at the gates. Fans may bring the following items into the venue, subject to inspection at the gates:

  • Cushions or chairs without armrests or side pockets
  • Small cameras, binoculars and mobile phones
  • Small bags with medically necessary items (Please note: Diapers and non-medically necessary items for babies and young children must be carried in a transparent bag.)
