Former NBA star Dwight Howard made his Dancing with the stars made her debut on Tuesday evening with partner Daniella Karagach.

People were excited to see how the 6-foot-10 baller and 5-foot-3 dancer would handle their staggering height difference. Surprisingly, it was never an issue during the routine thanks to Karagach’s brilliant choreography.

Howard and Karagach stunned the audience and judges with their salsa dance to Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It.” They scored 22, the second highest of the night.

Karagach immediately choreographed a lift that hilariously captured the height difference between the two, and there was no turning back after that.

After the season premiere, the official Dancing with the stars Photos of each routine were uploaded to the Instagram account and Howard posted a joke about his height in the comments.

“Never danced before but hopefully you can see I’m up for the challenge. The fact that I’m walking on stilts doesn’t make it any easier,” he wrote in the comments.

The second slide shows the hilarious lift that begins the routine.

Howard will find out what happened to him when episode 2 airs in two weeks and two contestants are eliminated.
