LINCOLN, Nebraska – Hitting .100, its lowest mark of the season, No. 2 Stanford lost 25-17, 25-22, 25-14 at No. 5 Nebraska on Wednesday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

Stanford (7-1) suffered its first loss of the season, with 22 errors. Nebraska (9-1) hit .263 and finished with five aces and 9.0 blocks.

Outside hitter Elia Run posted a match-high 10 kills, six digs, two aces and two blocks. Middle blocker Lizzy Andrew added six kills on .417 hitting and three blocks.

Setter Kami Miner finished with 28 assists, two digs and a kill. Libero Elena Oglivie posted a match-high 11 digs, while senior defensive specialist Taylor Beaven collected a season-high nine digs.

Middle blocker Sami Francis contributed with five kills and a block, while outside hitter Ipar Kurt totaled seven kills. Opposite Jordyn Harvey finished with four kills and two digs.

Nebraska was led by Andi Jackson’s nine kills on .600 hitting and a match-high five blocks. Lindsay Krause added nine kills and an ace for the Huskers.

Stanford returns to The Farm to close out non-conference play against No. 11 Kentucky on Saturday. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
