Arch Manning’s first start is here! The Texas Longhorns hosted the ULM Warhawks in Austin at DKR to complete non-conference play.

Manning starts for the injured Quinn Ewers, who pulled his obliques last week against UTSA. In relief, Manning accounted for five touchdowns against the Roadrunners.

Manning appeared a bit nervous early in his first start, throwing an interception to the Warhawks defense. But Arch calmed down on his next drive and began lighting up the ULM secondary with several deep balls.

Manning set up a Jaydon Blue TD run with a 56-yard pass to Isaiah Bond. Arch then found Blue for the Longhorns’ second TD on a 3-yard pass.

Ryan Wingo was targeted on the next drive, as Manning hit the freshman for a 17-yard TD. Another deep ball to Matthew Golden set up another Blue TD.

After a ULM field goal, Manning threw a fastball to Blue, which bounced off him and into the arms of Warhawks defensive back Wydett Williams Jr.
