Gone are the days when the Detroit Lions played in the comfortable 1:00 p.m. ET slot 16 out of 17 weeks. Detroit is now a hotbed for nationally televised games and FOX’s afternoon Game of the Week.

Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals is technically neither. It’s just a West Coast trip, and that usually means a later game time. Detroit does indeed kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.

That means Lions fans will have to sit patiently through the 1:00 PM ET slate as we wait for Lions football to kick off. But hey, it’s not all bad.
