Travis Kelce’s Sad Reaction on the Bench Against the Falcons Has NFL Fans Concerned

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce hasn’t looked like himself this season. He’s looked sadder.

The Chiefs star, who once made headlines for aggressively bumping into coach Andy Reid, appeared to be a completely different person during Sunday night’s Week 3 game against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Cameras captured Kelce during the game sitting on the bench with a thoughtful look on his face as he paused to wipe something from his eye.

Kelce entered Sunday’s game with just four catches for 39 yards in two games to start the season. Fans thought the All-Pro tight end would kick into another gear this week against the Falcons, but unfortunately he hasn’t been involved in the passing game much, with four catches on five targets for 30 yards that night.

The chemistry between Kelce and Mahomes isn’t there, as NBC commentator Cris Collinsworth noted during halftime.

Kelce’s sad look on the Chiefs bench has since gone viral on social media, with NFL fans desperately hoping this isn’t the end for the 12-year veteran.
