Which players impressed in the Week 3 win over the Falcons?

The Kansas City Chiefs remain undefeated after taking down the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night. The 22-17 victory was catapulted by excellent offensive execution, control of the time of possession and crucial defensive stops.

Patrick Mahomes overcame another career interception for Justin Simmons and was sharp in the second half. Chamarri Conner had two effective games in a row with an interception off Kirk Cousins. Carson Steele held his own as Isiah Pacheco’s replacement at running back, while Rashee Rice further cemented his role as the team’s leading receiver.

With the emergence of veteran receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster who can get to the end zone from the defense, Trent McDuffie excels as the best cover cornerback.

Stock on: WR Rashee Rice

In his first game as a featured running back, Steele did not disappoint, leading the team with 72 yards on 17 carries.

The reigning Super Bowl MVP threw another interception to Justin Simmons, but this time he’s with the Falcons. He finished the game with 217 yards passing and two touchdowns.

Conner continued his excellent play from last week, intercepting the ball off Kirk Cousins and making seven tackles.

Stocking Up: Nick Bolton

Bolton had the most significant stop of the game late in the fourth quarter, tackling Bijan Robinson on fourth down behind the line. His eight tackles led the team for the night.
