The Buffalo Bills defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars in New York, led by Josh Allenwith a 37-10 lead heading into the fourth quarter. During the game, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James sent a message about Allen. Allen dominated the NFL with 263 passing yards and four touchdowns, while also amassing 44 yards on the ground. Despite doubts about the Bills’ passing game without Diggs and Davis, Allen found 10 different receiving options, including Shakir, Coleman, Johnson and Kincaid, on touchdown passes.

LeBron James tweets about Josh Allen

Josh Allen, who was expected to be dominant in the 2024 season after losing Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis to the AFC South, continues to dominate the AFC East. In a recent game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Allen threw for four touchdowns in the first half alone, impressing NBA superstar LeBron James, who tweeted about the performance. “I really enjoy watching Josh Allen play football!” he tweeted.
Though it’s still early in the season, fans are hyping Allen and the Bills as Super Bowl favorites after the dominant victory. Allen had a breakout season in 2020 as he helped the Bills win their first division title and playoff victory since 1995 en route to an AFC Championship Game appearance. He also set franchise records with the Bills for most passing yards and touchdowns in a season. For his efforts, he was named to the Pro Bowl and received second-team All-Pro honors. He led the Bills to five playoff appearances, four straight division titles and five postseason victories during his time in Buffalo.
Allen, in addition to earning varsity letters in several high school sports, worked regularly on the family farm, as well as in the restaurant his mother owned in Firebaugh. Allen was active in the National FFA Organization through his local FFA chapter at Firebaugh High School. Allen has received numerous awards for his work and agricultural expertise, including being ranked in the top four in the nation for diversified crop production of cantaloupe, cotton and wheat in 2014.
