In response to the burning precedents that have been set in Suramerica, with several million hectares in the Amazon and on other continents, the International Amnist Association has published a map that guides the presidents of Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Perú in the fact that the world is intensifying its activities to extinguish the fires, re-solve its burns and abandon fossil fuels and transform the de facto model of industrial agriculture, protect the territories of indigenous peoples and offer many guarantees to a person who defends the mediocre sphere.

Since September 2024, records of fires have been recorded in Suramérica, with millions of hectares of fields found not only in the tropical islands of the Amazon, but also in diverse ecological systems that expand through the enteros.

The publication of the map coincides with the Future of American National Unity, which is now being celebrated in York on September 23 with the assistance of the General Secretariat of the International Amnistía Internacional, Agnès Callamard.
