Singer Al B. Sure!, legally known as Albert Joseph Brown, is suspicious about the death of his ex, actress Kim Porter.

The singer wrote a series of Instagram posts formally requesting “an investigation into an entire group of individuals working at or around the residence of Ms. Kimberly Porter,” tagging several law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, the Department of Justice, and the CIA.

Porter, who was married to Brown and shared a child, Quincy, with him, has become a topic of conversation since a book called Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey to Justice from the Other Side… was published on Amazon on September 6, 2024. The book was said to be a memoir compiled from Porter’s diary entries, and after Porter’s other ex, Sean “Diddy” Combs, was indicted on multiple sex crimes charges, music producer Chris Todd felt it was “safer to come forward” and admit to publishing the book.

In his post, Brown said that the “publicists who assisted in the preparation” of the book should be investigated. “It has come to my attention that these individuals were also instructed to steal her computer and mobile devices, which contained her ‘original book notes.'”

Porter’s girlfriend, Ebonie Elektra, also made an Instagram reel bashing the book. “THERE IS NO BOOK! There never was,” she wrote in the caption.

In addition to questioning the authenticity of the book, Brown claims that Porter’s death was not the result of pneumonia, but in fact murder. “The individuals involved in this case may also be linked to the cover-up of the alleged murders of several prominent artists,” he wrote.

Brown further alleged that Porter was targeted to prevent her from speaking out against Diddy. According to Brown, Porter was “taken (…) before she could complete her true thoughts for this FAKE Unauthorized EDIT.”

Brown referenced Diddy’s other ex, Cassie Ventura, who was videotaped physically assaulting Diddy, saying Porter was likely deliberately silenced. “It is clear that her potential to expose the reality of her personal abuses, the drugging, the #SexTrafficking and #HumanTrafficking she witnessed, similar to the courageous actions of Mrs. Cassie Ventura, posed a threat to those who profited from such heinous activities,” Brown wrote.

Diddy is currently in jail after being denied bail on charges of human trafficking, extortion and transportation to engage in prostitution. His attorney Marc Agnifilo has said that Diddy “will fight this with all his energy and all his power and the full confidence of his lawyers.”
