Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season kicks off with a pivotal NFC East matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.

After dominating in the season opener, the Cowboys have dropped two games in a row to fall to 1-2 on the season. Meanwhile, the Giants have the same result, a 1-2 record, but they took the exact opposite route to get there, losing in Weeks 1 and 2 and winning last Sunday. Coincidentally, both teams’ wins have come against the Browns.

So there’s a lot riding on this early-season matchup, as the loser will see their playoff hopes significantly diminished.

I think this will be a close game and the Giants have a good enough rushing attack to take advantage of the Cowboy’s terrible run defense, with the game coming down to a late field goal. However, I don’t trust Daniel Jones to pull off the complete upset and win outright. Also, I like Dallas’ offense to score some points, hence the over pick.

For the injury report, the Cowboys have listed safety Markquese Bell (ankle) and cornerback Caelen Carson (shoulder) as questionable for tonight. Meanwhile, cornerbacks Adoree’ Jackson (calf) and Andru Phillips (calf) are out, while wide receiver Darius Slayton (thumb) is questionable for the Giants.
