Have Alabama football fans taken over Vanderbilt’s stadium? See for yourself

Before Alabama football landed in Nashville, Tennessee for Saturday’s matchup against Vanderbilt, the Crimson Tide’s social media team was already joking about the expected fan atmosphere at FirstBank Stadium.

In an image posted to Alabama Football’s social media account, the team made fun of Vanderbilt by posting quotes surrounding the Crimson Tide being “away” on Saturday afternoon.

At the kickoff for Alabama vs. Vanderbilt saw to the Crimson Tide’s social media team that this was correct.

Of the limited capacity of 28,934 at FirstBank Stadium due to an ongoing construction project, the majority of fans wore Alabama colors.

On September 28, Alabama scored a signature win against Georgia in front of 100,077 fans at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

The Crimson Tide has 60 wins in 83 meetings against Vanderbilt.
