Today NYT Connections hints and answers emerge immediately.

Play connections

Connections is a free, popular New York Times daily word game. Every day you get a new puzzle at midnight. You can play on the NYT website or Games app.

You will be shown a grid of 16 words. Your job is to divide them into four groups of four by discovering the connections between them. The groups can be things like clickable items, names for study participants, or words preceded by a body part.

There is only one solution to each puzzle, and you have to be careful when it comes to words that fit into more than one category. You can play the words in any order so you might see the connections between them.

Each group has a color code. The yellow group is usually the easiest to figure out, blue and green fall in the middle, and the purple group is usually the most difficult. The purple group often uses puns.

Select four words that you think go together and press Send. If you make a guess and you’re wrong, you lose a life. When you’re close to the right group, you might see a message saying you’re just one word away from the right group, but you still need to figure out which one to swap.

If you make four mistakes, the game is over. Let’s make sure this doesn’t happen with some tips and, if you’re really struggling, today’s information Connections answers. As with Word and other similar games, it’s easy to share results with your friends on social media and group chats.

I laughed as soon as I saw the grid appear. A whole collection of ridiculous words. KING KONG made the purples pretty clear to me though. BUBBLES was Michael Jackson’s chimpanzee, while GEORGE refers to Curious George and KOKO, a gorilla, could understand thousands of words of English.

I wasn’t sure if SKRRT matched the greens, but I took a guess and it worked. From then on I wasn’t sure about the blue and yellow colors, but a few lucky guesses got me to the first one. This left the yellow group for the win.

That’s all it takes for today Connections clues and answers. Make sure to visit my blog for tips and the solution to Tuesday’s game if you need it.

P.S Congo it might have been worth recommending here given the addition of KOKO, but let’s go with a much better primate-related horror film. I think Jordan Peele might be the most exciting mainstream film director working today. I love all three of his films so far, but No is probably my favorite. It’s just fantastic:
