Sylvester Stallone’s new movie “Armor” looks like it’s packed with potential.

Stallone is one of the best action stars in Hollywood history thanks to his iconic Rambo roles.

Throwing him into an action movie is a great way to generate interest, and it looks like that’s exactly what will happen with Armor.

The plot of Stallone’s latest film is described as: “Cornered on a bridge, a father-and-son duo of security guards must battle a team of thieves to steal millions of dollars from their armored truck.”

Sounds great, right? Well, I can promise that the trailer doesn’t disappoint at all. Check it out below and let me know your thoughts at [email protected].

First off, the trailer is electric and it looks like “Armor” is going to be a lot of fun. You don’t have to sell me a movie about an armored vehicle being robbed.

I doubt “Armor” will be as solid as “The Town,” but even if it is half as good, it will be 100% worth watching.

This is the only problem I have after watching the trailer. How on earth can an armored vehicle be stuck on a bridge with lots of explosions, gunfire and presumably a radio or phone without the police showing up? There are indications that communication has been disrupted. Plausible? Maybe, but doubtful.

When a raid is reported, the cavalry should arrive in overwhelming numbers, regardless of whether it comes in by radio or telephone, as these are two different forms of communication platforms. That doesn’t seem to happen in ‘Armor’.

I’m sure there will be an explanation for that in the plot, and it better be bulletproof (no pun intended). If not, there is a big hole in the concept.
