There are thousands of deals during Walmart’s big sale—here are the ten we’re buying

The Yahoo team has had a long week of shopping. Someone has to do it, right? Our editors have been hard at work finding the best deals and steals during the Walmart Holiday Deals event — you can find those picks here — but we couldn’t resist scoring some treats for ourselves. Come on, we’re only human!

So, with Halloween, winter cooking, and tech upgrades in mind, here are some of the great discounts from major brands (KitchenAid, Crocs, LG) we got started with. But don’t forget: Sunday is your last day to shop Walmart’s big sale, so add everything you want to your cart right away.

“Don’t judge me, but I’m not one for ironing clothes. I prefer using a steamer to remove wrinkles and I’m looking for a new one. I like that this one heats up super fast (it only takes 15 seconds, while my old one steamer took less than a minute) and that it has a large window so I can see how much water is in it.”

“If I’m going to have a pair of Crocs in the backyard, they might as well be glamorous. I plan to make this glittery pair my throw-and-go’s so I can feel chic while playing with the dog and pretend to be a movie star while gardening. (Or pretend to garden.)”

“I bought the air fryer from Drew Barrymore’s kitchen line last year and am still raving about it to friends and family. Now that the weather is getting cooler, I can’t wait to try out the slow cooker. It’s prettier than others on the market. market (I love the rich blue hue and gold accents!) and it’s perfect for cooking soups and chili this winter.”

“We just spent an obscene amount of money building a new deck, so you better believe I’m keeping an eye on all the end-of-season deals on patio furniture and accessories. I’ve always loved Adirondack chairs, but I’m over the maintenance required for anything made of real wood. These high-density polyethylene chairs are just what you need: they’re virtually maintenance-free, they’re lighter, they’re foldable, they’re stackable… what’s not to love? ? ? The hardest part is choosing a color.”

“Over the past year, I’ve been slowly (but surely) decorating my new apartment. I ditched any major furniture purchases early on, but now I’m finding small ways to make my space feel like home. A new full-length mirror has been on my wish list for a few months – and now that this one is almost $150 off, I’m going to buy it. Seriously, a chic curved mirror this size for only $50 much more I have to say.”

“You can never have too many spooky Halloween decorations. I live in a part of Los Angeles populated primarily by film and TV designers, so my version of ‘keeping up with the Joneses’ is maintaining a respectable scary front yard this Halloween. This The howling, poseable werewolf has glowing eyes and is creepy enough to give me credibility among the jaded tweens on my block – and it’s almost 60% off.”

“With the holidays approaching, I’m starting to think about everything I need for hosting. One thing I like to have extras for is tableware and this beautiful stoneware set looks a lot more expensive than it is. The minimalist design looks beautiful without taking too much attention away from the food!”

“I already have the mini version of this classic KitchenAid stand mixer, but recently it’s become apparent that it’s just too small… and not as powerful as the OG. So I’m currently looking at this 4.5-quart model that’s $100 off gives Walmart is an investment, but as someone who loves cooking and baking, I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it. Now I just have to decide which color to buy.’

“I’m a movie buff (just got a Criterion subscription for my birthday) and a gamer (there’s nothing better than Resident Evil 4). But I’ve always settled for a $100 TV because… you know how you just get used to things? Then I saw Miller crossing in 4K and realized that even though I live in a 150 year old house, I still have access to modern technology. But who, like many, can spend a lot of money? Behold the 4K glory of this 50-inch LG TV. It makes great movies even better and Resident Evil 4 even scarier – all without a terrifying price tag.”

“I’ve been looking for a new pair of noise-cancelling headphones and I can’t get over how beautiful this gray and gold Beats pair is. And now that they’re only $159, I think it’s time to take the plunge. Not only does it deliver 22 hours of battery life, but the soft earcups look incredibly comfortable.”
