Epic Games has announced that the massive v31.40 update, which includes the highly anticipated Halloween event, has been delayed by almost 24 hours so the studio can “continue final preparations.” The Fortnite update downtime was supposed to start on Friday, October 11 at 1am PDT / 4am EDT / 9am BST / 10am CEST, but “to ensure a pretty terrifying Fortnitemares” the downtime will now start later.
