It’s been 10 years since they last went to the West Coast during the regular season. The 34 points they’ve allowed over a five-game span are the fewest in the Bowl Subdivision in 2024. Oregon has far more talent on the skill front than the Buckeyes have faced in the Big Ten, but the defensive line , the strength of their defense, has an advantage over an offensive line that has been more inconsistent than a year ago, giving Ohio State the edge in a heavyweight tilt that will be decided in the trenches.
