LSU prepares for its home game at Tiger Stadium

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The LSU Tigers prepare to take on Ole Miss in a home game on Saturday, October 12.

The match is expected to start at 6:44 p.m

During Saturday night in Death Valley, LSU will also celebrate 100 years of Tiger Stadium in addition to the homecoming festivities.

Fans and coaches say they are ready for an exciting evening of football.

“What I’m excited about, and what our players are excited about, is an SEC game at Tiger Stadium,” said head coach Brian Kelly. “The energy, the excitement – ​​not that the other games weren’t exciting – but this is different. It all rises to a new level.”

Below are some key times fans should keep in mind:

  • 4:17 PM – LSU walks down Victory Hill
  • 4:30 PM – All Tiger Stadium gates open
  • 6:40 PM – LSU takes the field
  • 6.44pm – Kick-off at Tiger Stadium
  • Halftime – LSU band performs during the homecoming presentation.

A clear bag policy remains in effect at Tiger Stadium and all other LSU Athletics facilities. As a result, fans may only bring clear tote bags measuring 12 x 6 x 12 inches, clear plastic bags no larger than 1 gallon, and small handbags into the facilities. Items such as noise makers, umbrellas and outside food and drinks are prohibited.
