Kansas State football will look to earn its first conference road win in a Big 12 After Dark matchup with Colorado on Saturday night at Folsom Field in Boulder.

The No. 19 Wildcats (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) are coming off a 42-20 win at home over Oklahoma State two weeks ago, while Colorado (4-1, 2-0) defeated Central Florida on the road, 48-21, to to remain undefeated in the conference. Both teams were off last week.

K-State didn’t fare well in its first Big 12 road trip, also with a late night start and high altitude, dropping the conference opener at Brigham Young, 38-9. The Wildcats have also lost their last four games after a bye week under coach Chris Klieman.

This will be the first meeting between the Wildcats and Buffaloes since Colorado left the Big 12 for the Pac-12 in 2011, only to return this year. The Buffs won a shootout 44-36 the last time they faced each other on Nov. 20, 2010 in Boulder.

K-State opened as a five-point favorite, but that number had shrunk to 3.5 by Friday afternoon.
