It’s safe to say that the Boston Celtics are ready to begin their title defense.

The C’s treated their home crowd to a brutal 139-89 loss to their rival Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night. The win moves them to 3-0 in the preseason.

Seven Celtics scored in double figures, including co-stars Jaylen Brown (18 points) and Jayson Tatum (16 points). Boston shot 48.9 percent from 3-point range, holding Sam Hauser (15 points, 5-6 3-PT) and Xavier Tillman (11 points, 3-3 3-PT) from deep.

Luke Kornet scored eleven points in his first seven minutes. The C big man finished with 15 points and eight boards.

Boston returns to action on Sunday at 7:00 PM ET when they welcome the Toronto Raptors to TD Garden.
