LSU Football hosts Ole Miss on Saturday in one of the best Week 7 games in college football.

The rivalry between top 10 ranked teams No. 10 LSU (4-1, 1-0 SEC) and No. 8 Ole Miss (5-1, 1-1) is better known as the Magnolia Bowl, as both programs are in neighboring states that share the magnolia as their state flower.

The Tigers are looking for revenge after a 55-49 loss in last year’s edition, in which Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels finished with 414 passing yards and four touchdowns, along with 99 rushing yards. New starter Garrett Nussmeier hopes to replicate some of the success of the 2024 No. 2 seed this season.

It won’t be an easy task for the Rebels as they bounced back from their 20-17 loss to Kentucky with a dominant 27-3 win over South Carolina in Week 6 with 425 total yards.

LSU has won six of its past nine matchups, dating back to 2015.
