Classic Physique Olympia Pre-Judging 2024 Summary

Can Bumstead make it six in a row or will a new champion be crowned?

The pre-judging for the Classic Physique Olympia 2024 took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, on Saturday, October 12, 2024. It is the world championship event for the 2024 season.

The big favorite for this competition is the five-time defending champion Chris Bumstead. He had 54 contenders trying to dethrone him, including 2024 Arnold Classic Physique winner Wesley Vissers and 2023 Olympia runner-up Ramon Rocha Querioz.

The Play-by-Play

As always, Queiroz had many supporters in the crowd. Bumstead’s fans cheered the loudest when he took the stage, and as expected, he was in the middle of the first call. Urs Kalecinski and Mike Sommerfeld flanked him. They were sent back into line, indicating they were among the top three in the field. This was confirmed when they were called for the final call.

The final round for Classic Physique is part of the Saturday night show at the Resorts World Theater in Las Vegas. The top 10 compete for the title of world champion.
