The Chiefs’ next game will give NFL fans flashbacks to Las Vegas in February, and it appears Kansas City is in position to repeat that outcome.

Patrick Mahomes & Co. restored confidence in their side after a dominant 26-13 victory over the Saints on Monday Night Football last week. Tight end Travis Kelce finally had a breakout game, catching nine passes for 70 yards.

Fans weren’t sure how the defending champions would perform after losing star receiver Rashee Rice, but the offense was able to use eight different receivers to get the job done.

The Chiefs have a bye this week, a time they will certainly take advantage of before traveling to San Francisco for a rematch of Super Bowls LVIII and LIV. Kansas City has had some tough games so far, but the team is still 5-0 and hopes for another big season are alive.
