GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – As part of a new NFL ad campaign, the Democratic National Convention has planned a flyover banner during the Packers vs. Cardinals at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

The banner reads: “Sack Trump’s Project 2025! Vote Kamala!” and is part of an ad campaign that the DNC says is an effort to meet voters where they are. The DNC also says they wanted to take the opportunity to spend a week with NFL teams from six battleground states to remind voters of the Project 2025 agenda.

“It’s NFL Sunday and Packers fans across Wisconsin are ready to dismiss Donald Trump’s Project 2025 playbook and fight for their freedom with the Harris-Walz ticket. Trump’s Project 2025 agenda is a dangerous plan to give him unprecedented power over the daily lives of Wisconsin citizens, to raise taxes on ordinary families by nearly $4,000 a year, and to give tax giveaways to his billionaire friends. That’s why the DNC is meeting Wisconsin voters where they are and letting them know that the most important contest is in November, and we must all work together to defeat Donald Trump by voting for Kamala Harris and Coach Tim Walz.” said DNC spokesperson Stephanie. Justice in a statement.

The Wisconsin GOP released a statement about the ad campaign to Action 2 News, saying:

“Given that the DNC has always viewed Wisconsin as a flyover state, this latest mid-air publicity stunt should come as no surprise to anyone. Thanks to the disastrous policies of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, Packer fans are paying more than ever to get out of Lambeau, while grocery prices have risen more than 25% in the last four years.”
